At BrightMinds Travel, we believe that every mind deserves the world — and that travel should feel joyful, supportive, and possible for everyone.
We are a travel agency dedicated to real people and real families, specializing in family travel planning that accommodates all types of travelers. Whether you're part of a family, a couple, a group of friends, or a multigenerational traveler, we can help. While we take pride in our expertise in inclusive travel and accessible travel options, you don’t need a diagnosis, a label, or a specific need to work with us. If you desire thoughtful planning, flexibility, and a trip that truly feels good — you’re in the right place.
BrightMinds Travel was founded by Amy, a planner at heart and a parent who learned early on that accessible travel doesn’t look the same for every family.
Through navigating the needs of her own family, Amy quickly realized that traditional family travel planning often overlooks sensory needs, pacing, predictability, and emotional comfort. What others might see as “small details” — room location, quiet spaces, flexible dining, backup plans — often make the difference between a stressful trip and a truly joyful one.
Over time, Amy amassed deep, practical knowledge about accommodations, destinations, and strategies that support neurodiverse travelers and their families. Not from a textbook — but from lived experience, research, advocacy, and countless conversations with other families navigating similar paths.
What started as personal problem-solving became a passion for helping others enjoy inclusive travel with more confidence, ease, and joy.
At BrightMinds Travel, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all vacations. Our approach to family travel planning prioritizes understanding your unique needs and preferences. We take the time to explore: how your family experiences the world, what feels exciting versus overwhelming, what supports help everyone thrive, and what matters most to you — including your budget.
Our itineraries are thoughtfully paced, sensory-aware, and designed with inclusive travel in mind. We plan proactively to reduce stress, prevent overwhelm, and create space for curiosity and wonder — all while ensuring accessible travel experiences without overpacking your schedule or overspending your resources.
While our expertise in neurodiversity-informed travel is central to our work, we specialize in accessible travel planning for: Families with and without special needs, couples and solo travelers, friend groups seeking inclusive travel experiences, and multigenerational adventures. Many of our clients come to us simply because they want family travel planning to feel easier, better organized, and more enjoyable. We’re happy to help with that, too.
We believe that meaningful travel and accessible travel experiences shouldn’t require financial stress. Amy and the BrightMinds Travel team prioritize value-driven planning, insider knowledge, and thoughtful options that align with real-life budgets. Our focus on family travel planning ensures that everyone can enjoy inclusive travel without feeling overwhelmed. Our goal is not to upsell, but to help you get the most joy, comfort, and support from your travel investment.
